New Delhi: Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) is inviting applications for the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2024 till November 30, 2023. The SEED 2024 has now been postponed to January 14, 2024. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on January 07, 2024.
Symbiosis Institute of Design offers Bachelor in Design programmes in four major disciplines which include: Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication. SID Admission 2024 to these b.des programs is done through the university entrance exam, SEED.

SEED 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board or government-approved diploma 10+3 with 50%. Candidates who belong to SC/ST have to obtain 45% to apply for SEED 2024. It must be noted that admission will be based on entrance exam scores as well as merit.
How to Apply for SEED 2024?
Step 1: Go to the official website of Symbiosis Institute of Design at sid.edu.in.
Step 2: Search and click on the ‘SEED 2024 Registration’ link.
Step 3: Register yourself on the login window.
Step 4: After logging in, fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 5: Then pay the application fee and submit the form.
SEED 2024 Documents Required
Here is a list of the documents that candidates will require during SEED 2024 Application registration:
- Class 10 (SSC) and 12 (HSC) mark sheet and pass certificate.
- Recent passport-size photo (uploaded in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format). In addition, the size should not be more than 150 kb.
- Date of birth (DoB) certificate.
- A valid photo ID proof (like Aadhaar card, pan card, or driving licence).
- Caste certificate, (if applicable).
SEED 2024 Application Fee
While applying for the SEED 2024 entrance exam, candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,950 (INR 1,950 for the SEED exam and INR 1,000 for SID) online mode.
