Sambalpur University Invites Application For Ph.D. Admission 2024; Apply till December 26

Sambalpur University has released the notice for Ph.D. admission for session 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the Ph.D. programmes from November 28, 2024, to December 26, 2024.

Candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 2000/- for Sambalpur University Ph.D. 2024 admission.

Sambalpur University Ph.D. Admission 2024 Eligibility

• Candidates must have 1-year Master’s and 4-year Bachelor’s degrees or 2-year Master’s and 3-year Bachelor’s degrees with minimum 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Differently-abled candidates).
• Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree should have minimum 75% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Differently-abled candidates) are also eligible for Ph.D. admission.
• Candidates with equivalent qualifications and aggregate marks from a foreign institution accredited under an approved agency of its home country can also apply for Ph.D. admission.

Sambalpur University Ph.D. Admission 2024 JRF Eligibility

Candidates are eligible to apply for Ph.D. 2024 admission under three categories:

• Admission to Ph.D. with JRF (JRF 2024/ JRF before 2024) with valid fellowship and appointment as assistant professor.
• Admission to Ph.D. without JRF and with appointment as assistant professor.
• Admission to Ph.D. without JRF and appointment as assistant professor (UGC-NET 2024).

Sambalpur University Ph.D. Admission 2024 Selection

• Candidates with JRF will be selected based on their personal interview performance.
• Candidates without JRF will be selected based on UGC-NET and personal interview performance. 70% weightage will be given to UGC-NET and 30% weightage to Personal Interview
