The SAAT 2026 Phase 1 examination is tentatively scheduled for May 2026, with the results and rank cards expected to be released in May/June 2026.

SAAT 2026 Phase 1 Registration Ongoing

The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT) 2026 Phase 1 registration process is currently underway for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Candidates can submit their applications online till April 30, 2026.

The SAAT 2026 application process for Phase 1 began on December 7, 2025, and will remain open till April 30, 2026. The entrance test dates for Phase 1 have yet to be announced by the university.

The examination is conducted in a multiple-choice format, and its difficulty level is comparable to other national-level entrance tests. Candidates with diploma qualifications in relevant fields are also eligible for lateral entry admissions through SAAT 2026.

Result and Counselling Process

The declaration of results and download of rank cards for B.Tech and other programmes will be announced after the examination. Based on performance, separate merit lists will be prepared for qualified candidates, including category-wise merit lists as per reservation policies.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for online or offline counselling based on their rank and preferences. Detailed counselling schedules will be notified after the release of results.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying. During the final admission process, original documents will be verified, and candidates will be required to submit attested copies of their certificates.

The university has clarified that admission may be cancelled at any stage if a candidate is found ineligible as per the admission guidelines.
