Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) has released the PhD merit list for 2025 for the disciplines of Law and English. Selected candidates are required to complete the admission process by submitting the necessary documents at RGNUL and following the prescribed admission procedure.

RGNUL PhD Admission 2025: Documents Required for Admission
- Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Marksheet
- Master’s Degree Certificate and Marksheet
- M.Phil. Degree Certificate (if applicable)
- UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SET/GATE/SLET Certificate
- Any other fellowship or qualifying exam certificate
- Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport (for identity proof)
- Birth Certificate or equivalent (for age verification)
- Caste/Category Certificate (for reserved category candidates, if applicable)
- Certificate for PwD (Persons with Disabilities), if applicable
- A detailed research proposal approved by the university or supervisor.
- Recent Passport-Sized Photographs
- Proof of payment for the admission fee (as per the university guidelines).
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Character Certificate from the last attended institution
RGNUL PhD Admission Process
- Verification of Documents:
Candidates must visit the university as per the schedule with original and photocopies of the required documents for verification.
- Submission of Research Proposal:
Submit the finalized research proposal to the concerned department or research supervisor for review and approval.
- Payment of Admission Fee:
- Pay the admission fee as per the university's guidelines either online or through a bank draft.
- Retain the payment receipt for submission during document verification.
- Interaction with Supervisor:
Candidates will be introduced to their allotted research supervisor for guidance and further process orientation.
- Enrollment Confirmation:
Once all documents are verified and the admission fee is paid, candidates will receive an enrollment confirmation from the university.
Candidates are advised to check the official RGNUL website for the detailed admission schedule and any updates or changes in the process. Failure to complete the process within the stipulated time may lead to the forfeiture of the admission offer.
