NTA issued the official notice on June 18, 2026. The Re-NEET 2026 examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026. The notice was uploaded on the NTA portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
The Re-NEET 2026 is the re-conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate exam. It was ordered for candidates affected by earlier examination irregularities. The June 21 sitting follows that order.

New Re-NEET 2026 Examination Venue in Prayagraj
The new venue is the Department of Medieval and Modern History. It sits at the Senate House Campus, University of Allahabad. Both sites are within the same university precinct in Prayagraj.
Candidates allotted to other Prayagraj centres remain unaffected. They must report to their originally allotted venues as scheduled. The change is limited to the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre allottees.
Why Was the Prayagraj Centre Shifted?
NTA acted on inputs from the local district administration. The original centre had ongoing construction work on the premises. Electricity was also unavailable at the venue on exam day.
The District Level Committee recommended an alternative site within the university. NTA accepted this recommendation to ensure a smooth examination. The shift was finalised two days before the exam date.
How to Download the Updated Re-NEET 2026 Admit Card?
NTA has issued fresh admit cards for all affected candidates. The revised admit cards carry the new venue address. Candidates can download them using their login credentials.
- Visit the official NEET portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the Re-NEET 2026 admit card download link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- Submit the details and view the updated admit card.
- Download the admit card and take a clear printout for the exam.
What If You Already Have the Old Admit Card?
Candidates carrying the old admit card will also be allowed entry. Centre staff will verify identity before admission to the new hall. However, NTA strongly advises downloading the fresh admit card.
The fresh copy carries the correct address and prevents reporting confusion. Cross-check your name, photograph, roll number, and reporting time on the new copy. Report any mismatch through the NTA helpline immediately.
The notice arrived just two days before the Re-NEET 2026 exam date. Affected candidates have a very short window to plan travel and confirm the route. Reaching the wrong venue can mean losing the entire re-examination opportunity.
