Parul University Partners with 8 Swiss Students for YEEP 2023; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Parul University has collaborated with 8 Swiss students for the Youth Entrepreneurship and Engineering Program (YEEP) 2023 as a testament in fostering innovative solutions to real-world problems through a course on entrepreneurship and innovation culture in India.

Under YEEP 2023, students were divided into four groups where each student was given the task of designing solutions for specific problems related to law, travel guides, healthcare, and smart home automation technologies. 

This initiative by Parul University was a collaborative effort between Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, which aimed to deliver comprehensive training in entrepreneurship and innovation. 

YEEP portrays young potential minds to create sustainable solutions for the future. Since 2017, this is the fourth edition of YEEP, an ongoing partnership with Bern University which also includes other exchange programs such as summer schools, and faculty visits, fostering strong relations between the two universities.

In the program, students were given innovative tasks with critical thinking problem statements which encourage them to apply their knowledge and come up with innovative solutions. Students had developed a wearable device for epilepsy patients that can detect seizures and alert emergency contacts. Students also created a LawsPlat, a platform that will help law students and legal professionals, offering practical guidance and networking opportunities.

They also designed a Travel Guide a platform that will help to connect travelers with local guides to enhance their traveling experience. Students reached a milestone by creating a Smart Home automation, offering convenience and remote management of appliances and devices.

YEEP has reached a position, where its experience went beyond academics as the students were exposed to various cultural events, that includes Holi-Dhuleti and Diwali. They also engaged themselves in Indian classical dance and experienced cultural practices like the mehndi application. This exposure helped them to understand the diversity of India’s rich culture.

The heart of YEEP 2023 lies in nurturing diversity and innovation among students from different backgrounds, shaping tomorrow’s inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs. With this program, Parul University encourages collaboration and the exchange of knowledge among students from diverse continents.
