Panjab University Chandigarh has opened UG and PG admission forms for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates can apply at admissions.puchd.ac.in on or before July 1, 2026. Application fee starts at Rs 300.

Panjab University UG and PG Admission Form 2026 Open Till July 1

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has opened the online application portal for the 2026-27 academic session. The window covers most Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes across PU departments. Candidates can apply online at admissions.puchd.ac.in till July 1, 2026.

The portal also accepts the application fee till the same deadline. A single login allows candidates to register for multiple programmes at once. The fee is consolidated based on the number of courses chosen. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited under any circumstances.

Established in 1882, Panjab University is one of India's oldest central universities. It runs a wide range of regular UG, PG and doctoral programmes on its Chandigarh campus.

Panjab University Application Fee 2026-27

The application fee depends on how many courses a candidate selects in one login. SC, ST and PwD candidates get a 50 percent concession on the listed amounts. The fee is payable only through online modes.

Which Programmes Are Covered Under This Application Window?

The current portal handles registrations for most regular UG and PG programmes at PU departments. A few streams follow separate admission routes and are excluded from this form.

Programmes not covered by the admissions.puchd.ac.in form:

  • CET UG admissions for the four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) programmes under NEP
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.)
  • Five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. and B.Com. LL.B. programmes
  • Courses admitting candidates through PUTHAT
  • Candidates for these streams must use the dedicated portals linked on the main PU admissions website.

How to Apply for Panjab University UG and PG Admission 2026-27?

The complete process is online. Aspirants should keep academic marksheets, category proof, photograph and signature ready before they begin.

  1. Visit the official portal at admissions.puchd.ac.in.
  2. Register as a new user with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Log in with the credentials sent to your registered email.
  4. Fill personal details, academic qualifications from Class 10 onwards and category data.
  5. Upload the scanned photograph, signature and supporting documents.
  6. Select the courses you wish to apply for and review the form.
  7. Pay the application fee online and submit before July 1, 2026.
