How to Register for Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026?

  • Visit the official portal at ojee.nic.in.
  • Click on the counselling registration link for MBBS and BDS.
  • Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number and required credentials.
  • Fill in personal, academic, and category details in the form.
  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
  • Pay the counselling fee through the online payment gateway.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for records.

What Documents Are Required for Registration?

Candidates should keep the following documents ready before starting the process:

  • NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
  • Odisha domicile or nativity certificate
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • PwD certificate, if applicable
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Valid photo identity proof

How Are the Counselling Rounds Conducted?

The counselling runs across multiple rounds on a single online platform. These include Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. Choice filling and seat allotment start after the registration window closes. Candidates who qualify can lock preferences from the list of participating colleges. Seat allotment is based on NEET UG 2026 rank, category, and choices.

Candidates can exit without penalty in Round 1 as per the rules. Withdrawal is not permitted in later rounds without a financial penalty. Reporting to the allotted college is compulsory within the notified deadline. Original documents are verified at the institute during reporting. A missed reporting deadline cancels the allotted seat.

Why This Matters

The 85% state quota reserves most Odisha medical seats for local students. This gives domicile candidates a strong home-state advantage. The remaining 15% seats fall under the All India Quota. That quota is handled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Keep the NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card ready.
  • Arrange the Odisha domicile or nativity certificate in advance.
  • Visit admissions.nic.in/OJEE/Applicant and complete the registration form.
  • Pay the counselling fee online using a valid payment mode.
  • Submit the application well before the August 22, 2026 deadline.
