The Netaji Subhas University of Technology has released the list of candidates eligible to appear for the written test of the PhD examination which is to be conducted between December 18 to 20, 2024. Candidates who find their name on the list must be present at the allotted venue at the designated time with a presentation on the subject of their research of at least 15 minutes

Candidates must go through the below-mentioned instructions before appearing for Netaji Subhas University of Technology PhD Program written test

• A 15-minute presentation on the subject of their research interest must be prepared by the candidates.
• In order to demonstrate their teaching abilities, candidates who applied under the category of Research Scholars with a University Research Fellowship (i.e., URF) must additionally have a prepared 10-minute presentation on a topic related to the departmental courses.
• At the time of the interview, candidates who have been exempted from the written exam (apart from UGC-NET) must present a No Objection Certificate (NOC), as stated in the letter they received.
• At the time of the interview, candidates whose postgraduate results are still pending must submit an undertaking in the format that is attached.
• Additionally, at the time of the interview, all candidates must bring their original documentation attesting to the completion of the qualifying degree and eligibility requirements listed in the information booklet so that the relevant Departmental Committee can verify them prior to the interview.

Candidates must be able to provide the following listed documents at the time of written test/Interview/Admission.

• A printout of your REGISTRATION SLIP duly self-attested (downloaded online application form).
• A self-attested copy of all documents
• Passport size photograph
• Age proof.
• Graduation and Masters mark sheets
• GATE certificate
• NET certificate for NET candidates.
• Proof for category [EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PC] (if applicable)

Admission to the PhD program at Netaji Subhas University of Technology is not assured by passing the written exam. The candidate's performance in the written exam, interview, and previous academic work will all be taken into consideration for final acceptance.
