According to the official admission brochure released by Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), the university has opened applications for its 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme for the academic year 2026–27. Candidates can apply online at nsut.ac.in, with the last date to submit the application set as June 1, 2026.
The programme is offered across five specializations and admits students primarily through national-level design entrance exam scores. UCEED, conducted by IIT Bombay, is given the highest priority in the merit list, followed by NID DAT, NIFT, and IPU CET scores.

Selection Process and Exam Priority
Admission is merit-based, determined entirely by national or state-level design exam scores. The priority order for merit list preparation is as follows:
- First Priority: Rank in UCEED (conducted by IIT Bombay)
- Second Priority: Rank in NID DAT, NIFT, or IPU CET
- Third Priority: Rank in a state-level Fashion Technology or Design entrance exam of any state government-funded institute
If a candidate has appeared in more than one national-level exam, the best rank among all valid scores is considered. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling for document verification and final seat acceptance.
