NIT Mizoram Begins Ph.D. Admission For Even Semester 2025-26; Apply till Dec 18 @nitmz.ac.in

NIT Mizoram has started Ph.D. admissions for the Even Semester 2025-26, inviting applications across multiple engineering and science disciplines. Candidates can apply online and submit required documents through the portal.

The institute will conduct a written test and interview as part of the selection process, and shortlisted names will be announced on the official website. The application deadline is December 18, 2025, and the selection process will continue through January 2026. The program covers full-time and part-time categories.

NIT Mizoram PhD Admissions for Even Semester 2025-26 Schedule

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks, while Bachelor’s degree holders with 7.5 CGPA or 70% marks and a valid GATE score can also apply for full-time engineering streams. For HSS programs, a Master’s degree with 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks is required, with relaxation for SC/ST applicants.

The selection will be done through the NIT Mizoram Written Test and Interview, and the syllabus will follow GATE/NET patterns applicable to each discipline. Shortlisted candidates will be notified on the institute website and through email by the respective departments. Applicants must produce original documents and application forms during verification.
