NIT Hamirpur MBA Admission 2026 Begins; Apply Till May 12

NIT Hamirpur has opened admissions for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the 2026-27 academic year. Interested candidates can apply online till May 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM through the official website at nith.ac.in. The application fee is ₹1,200 for Open/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹600 for SC/ST/PwD candidates, payable online through SBI Collect. Eligible candidates must possess a valid CAT, CMAT, or MAT score from any discipline or stream to be considered for admission.

The MBA programme at NIT Hamirpur is a four-semester course spread over two years with a comprehensive curriculum design. The programme includes core courses, elective courses, projects, and a summer internship at the end of the first year. Students can opt for dual specialisation with both as major specialisations based on faculty availability and student preference. The institute offers four specialisations: Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Financial Management.

Personal interviews will be conducted in online mode on May 20 and May 21, 2026, for shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates will receive an interview schedule communication on May 18, 2026, with specific time slots. The first selection list will be declared on June 2, 2026, with admission letters issued simultaneously to selected candidates. Selected candidates must deposit their fees by June 9, 2026, to confirm their admission and secure their seat in the programme.

NIT Hamirpur MBA Fee Structure 2026 (Semester-wise):

The institute offers 40 total seats with category-wise distribution, ensuring inclusive admissions. The seat matrix includes 15 Open seats, 1 Open-PwD seat, 4 Gen-EWS seats, 6 SC seats, 3 ST seats, and 10 OBC seats. Reservations follow the Government of India's reservation policy as notified from time to time.
