The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is set to conduct Institute-Level Spot Admission for vacant seats in M Tech/ M Plan/MSc programs on August 25, 2023. Eligible candidates are required to be present at the Bhaskara Hall on Aug 25.

NIT Calicut to Conduct Institute-Level PG Spot Admission 2023 from August 23 to 25

New Delhi: The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is all set to conduct Institute-Level Spot Admission for vacant seats in M Tech/ M Plan/MSc programs on August 25, 2023. Those interested in pursuing various postgraduate programs can apply through the official portal @nitc.ac.in.

As per the official NIT Calicut announcement, candidates with valid GATE/JAM scores in respective disciplines are required to be present at the Bhaskara Hall in NIT Calicut at 8 am on Friday, August 25.

NIT Calicut PG Spot Admission 2023: Important Dates

NIT Calicut Admissions for M. Tech./M. Plan program through Spot Admission will be in accordance with the CCMT 2023 eligibility criteria and NIT Calicut's special eligibility conditions.

Similarly, Admissions for M. Sc Courses at NITC through Spot Admission at NIT Calicut will follow the CCMN 2023 eligibility norms and NIT Calicut's special eligibility conditions, the admission announcement said.

The allocation of vacant seats for the NIT Clicut M. Tech /M. Plan programs will be based solely on the GATE scores (2021/2022/2023) of eligible candidates. Similarly, vacant seats for M. Sc. programs will be allocated based on JAM scores (2023) only, the NIT Calicut announcement said.

Once admitted, students are required to commence regular classes starting from Monday, August 28, 2023. NITC has also scheduled Institute-Level Spot Admissions for self-sponsored MTech /MPlan programs on August 23 and 24.

Prospective candidates are requested to participate in the selection process at the respective departments or schools at 9 am on August 23. Successful candidates will undergo the admission process at 9 am the following day.
