The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has commenced the choice filling for the first round of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) counselling on November 8, 2024 on the official portal. Details of the Counselling Process
Choice Filling and Locking
Candidates can submit an unlimited number of course and college choices in the order of their preference during the choice filling period. However, to ensure an organized allotment process, candidates must lock their choices between 4 pm and 11:55 pm on the last day, November 17. Choices that remain unlocked will automatically be locked by the system at the deadline.
Inclusion of AFMS Counselling Details
In response to recent updates, the NEET PG 2024 counselling brochure now includes details on the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) counselling process for priority candidates in categories 3, 4, and 5. This change in procedure allows MCC to conduct counselling for eligible AFMS candidates, streamlining the process further and ensuring wider opportunities for aspirants.
