Mumbai University Releases Exams Dates for 299 Exams in Summer Session 2024

New Delhi: Mumbai University announces exam dates for 299 exams in the summer session of the academic session 2023-24. B. Com semester VI exams start on March 22, 2024, BA semester VI exams on April 3, 2024, and BSc Semester VI exams on April 3, 2024. Self-financed courses in B Com for semester VI start on April 15, 2024.

According to University of Mumbai (MU) , the distribution includes 69 exams for humanities, 57 for commerce and management, 75 for science and technology, and 98 for interdisciplinary studies. 

Anticipating participation from approximately 2 lakh students, the exam will be conducted in the coming months. Initiating the exam session, the sixth semester BCom test is scheduled for March 22, 2024, followed by sixth-semester BA and BSc papers on April 3, 2024, representing a significant portion of MU students.

Specialised or self-financed courses within these faculties will commence later in the session. While the timetable for engineering and other programs is pending, 540 tests are slated for this cycle. 

This summer session marks the inaugural test for Pooja Raundale, recently appointed as the Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation (BoEE) at the university. 

Acknowledging past challenges, such as technical glitches and result delays within the examination department, Raundale has expressed a commitment to ensuring the timely conduct, assessment, and declaration of results for the upcoming summer exams.
