MP Diploma Counselling 2026 Commences; Register by May 29

Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Technical Education has started the diploma admission counselling process for the 2026-27 academic session. Online registration is open till May 29, while the merit list will be published on June 3.

MP Diploma Counselling 2026 Commences

Madhya Pradesh's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has started the online counselling process for diploma admission 2026-27 session. You can register online at dte.mponline.gov.in from May 4 to May 29, 2026. The counselling covers government, autonomous, grant-aided, private polytechnic institutions, and diploma architecture programs. Two phases of counselling will be conducted with merit-based seat allocation. Institution-level counselling will follow for remaining vacant seats. The entire process is conducted online for transparency and convenience.

Institution-level counselling for remaining vacant seats will be held from July 6 to August 12, 2026, with counselling sessions conducted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The final round for remaining vacant seats will take place on August 13 and 14, 2026, with registration on August 13 closing at 12:30 PM and counselling on August 14 scheduled from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Candidates can register by visiting dte.mponline.gov.in, clicking on the Online Counselling section, filling in their personal and academic details, uploading the required documents, selecting their preferred institutions and diploma programs, and locking their choices before the deadline.

Candidates should keep their registration number and password safe for future use. They are also advised to carefully read the detailed counselling rules and guidelines available on the official website, carry original documents for verification at the allotted institution, and report within the specified timeline for admission confirmation. Seat allocation will be done strictly on a merit basis according to the choices filled, and no cancellation will be allowed after choice locking.
