How to Access Answer Key & Raise Objections?

Candidates must visit the official Maharashtra CET website and log in using their registration credentials. Upon login, candidates will find the "Objection Tracker" option available from May 1, 2026. The portal displays the complete question paper, candidate's responses, and official answer key side by side for easy comparison. Candidates can review all three documents before deciding to raise objections.

Objection Submission Process

To raise an objection, candidates must select the specific question or answer they wish to challenge. They must provide detailed reasoning explaining why they believe the question or answer is incorrect. The objection must be submitted through the online portal only; email submissions or physical representations will not be accepted. Candidates must pay INR 1,000 per objection through an online payment gateway integrated in the portal.

Important Guidelines for Objection Submission

Candidates should carefully review the question paper and answer key before submitting objections. Objections must be specific and substantiated with valid reasoning or reference materials. Vague or generic objections may be rejected during evaluation. The objection tracker will automatically close on May 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM; no objections will be accepted after this deadline. Candidates are advised to submit objections well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.

What Happens After Objection Submission?

The Maharashtra CET Cell will evaluate all submitted objections against the official answer key and subject matter expertise. If an objection is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and results will be recalculated. Candidates will be notified of objection status through their login portal. The final answer key and results will be published after objection evaluation is complete.
