MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Postponed to Aug 21

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment. The result will now be released on August 21, 2026. MCC has issued this notice on its official portal, mcc.nic.in.

The seat allotment result was earlier scheduled for August 19, 2026. This is the latest revision to the Round 1 counselling timeline. MCC has not stated a specific reason in the notice.

The delay affects candidates seeking MBBS, BDS and other courses under the 15 percent All India Quota. Deemed universities, central institutions, AFMS, ESIC and AIIMS admissions also come under this counselling.

How to Check the MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

The allotment result will appear on the official MCC portal on August 21. Candidates can follow the steps below to view and download their letter.

  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab on the homepage.
  3. Open the link for Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026.
  4. Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
  5. Download the allotment letter and save a printed copy.

What Should Allotted Candidates Do Next?

Allotted candidates must report to the assigned college for admission. They need to carry all original documents for verification. The reporting window will be notified once the revised result is released.
