MCC NEET SS 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Begins; Check Steps to Register and Fill Choices

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened registration and choice filling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Round on the official portal at mcc.nic.in. This is the final round of NEET SS 2025 counselling and is being conducted to fill DM and MCh seats that remained vacant after the earlier rounds.

Eligible candidates can complete fresh registration, submit their choices, and lock their preferences within the window notified by the committee. The round covers super speciality seats in participating central and deemed universities under the all-India quota framework administered by MCC.

Who Can Participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round?

Only candidates who qualified NEET SS 2025 and meet the eligibility conditions laid down by the National Medical Commission are permitted. Participation is restricted to seats and institutions listed in the official Special Stray Vacancy notice issued by MCC.

• Candidates who qualified NEET SS 2025 with a valid rank.
• Candidates who did not join any seat in the earlier rounds.

The registration and choice filling process is fully online. Candidates must complete each step within the schedule published on the MCC portal.

3. Register using your NEET SS 2025 roll number and required credentials.
4. Pay the non-refundable registration fee and the applicable security deposit online.
5. Fill and lock your college and course preferences before the deadline.

Candidates should keep their NEET SS 2025 scorecard, admit card, and identity proof handy while registering. Unlocked choices at the deadline are auto-locked by the system as per MCC rules.

Fee Structure for NEET SS 2025 Counselling

The fee structure follows the schedule published by MCC in its official information bulletin. Amounts differ for central institutions and deemed or central universities.

A refundable security deposit is also collected at the time of registration. Payment is accepted through net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI on the counselling portal.

Seat Allotment and Reporting

Seat allotment for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is based on NEET SS 2025 merit and the choices locked by each candidate. The provisional allotment list is published on the MCC portal after processing.

Allotted candidates must download the allotment letter and report at the assigned institution within the reporting window. Failure to report leads to forfeiture of the seat and the security deposit as per MCC rules.
