The security deposit is refunded to candidates who do not get a seat or who exit the counselling in the first round without any penalty. Candidates must pay the fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

Which Institutions Are Covered?

The AACCC counselling covers a wide pool of PG AYUSH seats in the country. Based on last year's data, around 920 PG seats were filled through this central process. The seats are drawn from four main streams of institutes.

  • 15 percent All India Quota seats of Government and Government Aided colleges.
  • 100 percent seats of Central Universities and National Institutes.
  • 100 percent seats of Deemed Universities offering AYUSH PG courses.
  • Internal seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for the Faculty of Ayurveda.

How to Register for AIAPGET 2026 Counselling?

Candidates can complete the registration on the official AACCC portal in a few simple steps. The portal remains open only during the dates mentioned in the schedule notice.

  1. Visit the official website at aaccc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the AIAPGET 2026 PG Counselling link on the home page.
  3. Register using the AIAPGET 2026 roll number and application details.
  4. Fill personal, academic and category details on the form.
  5. Pay the counselling fee online as per the chosen institute category.
  6. Fill and lock choices of colleges and courses within the deadline.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Allotted candidates must report to the assigned institute with original documents. Missing papers can lead to cancellation of seat allotment.

  • AIAPGET 2026 scorecard and admit card.
  • Allotment letter downloaded from the AACCC portal.
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates.
  • BAMS, BUMS, BSMS or BHMS degree and mark sheets.
  • Internship completion certificate.
  • Valid category certificate, if applicable.
  • Government photo identity proof such as Aadhaar.
Why This Matters

AACCC runs the only central counselling for PG AYUSH seats. A missed deadline on this portal means losing access to premium Deemed and Central Institute seats for the full academic year.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Visit aaccc.gov.in and read both notices released on October 20, 2026.
  2. Keep the AIAPGET 2026 scorecard and roll number ready.
  3. Arrange the registration fee as per the chosen institute category.
  4. Scan all academic and category documents in advance.
  5. Complete registration, choice filling and locking within the deadline.
Keep an Eye On

Watch the AACCC portal for the Round 1 seat matrix and the provisional allotment result. Updates on Round 2 and mop-up rounds will follow soon after.
