MMU PhD Fee Structure 2025

Note: Tuition Fee is to be paid every year in advance. No separate intimation will be sent to the research students for depositing the annual tuition fee.

MMU PhD Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates applying for the admission have to complete the following criteria to be eligible:

• A 1-year/2-semester master's degree after a 4-year bachelor's degree or a 2-year master's degree after a 3-year bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the relevant regulatory body, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. program with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized foreign institution are eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program.
• A 5% relaxation in marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories as per the Commission's guidelines.

Interview will be applicable to all the candidates, those appearing in Entrance Test and also those Exempted from the Entrance Test.

MMU PhD Documents Required 2025

The following documents will have to be submitted by the candidates alongwith their Applications:

• Matriculation Pass Certificate or equivalent for date of birth.
• Senior Secondary Pass Certificate (+2).
• Detailed Mark Cards (DMCs) of all Graduation Degree exams.
• DMCs of all Master’s Degree exams.
• DMCs of M.Phil or Research Degree exams, if applicable.
• NET/SLET/UGC-CSIR or GATE Certificate (for Ph.D. in Agriculture).
• Character Certificate from the last attended Institution.
• SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled/EWS Certificate(s).
• Experience Certificate (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate from Employer (if applicable).
• Passport/Student Visa for NRI/Foreign candidates.
• Two Passport-sized Photographs (attested).
• Migration Certificate (if applicable).
• Undertaking against Ragging (submitted online).
• Any other relevant document.

Note: The candidates will have to produce the original documents at the time of depositing the admission dues.
