Important Instructions for Candidates

The Maharashtra NEET AYUSH Counselling 2024 has specific guidelines to ensure a smooth registration and seat allotment process. Candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions below:

1. Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2024 Remain Unchanged:

   • The HSC (12th) PCB marks eligibility, as mentioned in the Information Brochure for NEET UG 2024, remains the same.

2. No Repeat Registrations Allowed:

   • Candidates who have already registered earlier are not permitted to register again under any circumstances.

3. New Registration for Specific Candidates Only:

   • Candidates newly eligible under the revised NEET UG 2024 percentile for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses can now register during the specified period.

4. Preference Filling Guidelines:

   • Candidates who had registered earlier but could not fill their preferences due to the higher eligibility criteria can now participate in the preference-filling process for these courses.
   • If candidates were previously eligible and registered but were not allotted a seat, they must refill their preferences as earlier preferences are now invalid.

5. Exclusion of Candidates Who Have Already Secured Seats:

   • Candidates who were allotted a seat and joined during Rounds 1 and 2 or in earlier Stray Vacancy rounds are not eligible to participate in this round.

6. Participation Based on Seat Availability:

   • Candidates registering during this period and those eligible to participate will only be considered for remaining vacant seats after the completion of Online Stray Vacancy Round-2, based on merit.

7. Mandatory Joining for Allotted Seats:

   • It is compulsory to join the seat allotted in any of the Online Stray Vacancy Rounds. Candidates are advised to fill preferences only for colleges and courses where they genuinely intend to take admission.

8. Preference Validity for Subsequent Rounds:

   • The preferences submitted during this round will also be utilized for subsequent stray vacancy rounds (if any), ensuring that candidates do not miss opportunities for unfilled seats.
