MAH CET 2026

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has issued an urgent notice extending the registration deadline for various Higher Education professional courses for the academic year 2026-27. In response to candidate requests, the final date to apply for the MAH M.Ed. CETM.P.Ed, B.Ed (General & Special), and B.Ed ELCT have been moved to February 27, 2026.

This is the third and final extension provided by the authority. Candidates who have not yet secured their registration are urged to complete the process immediately via the official portal to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Candidates who have not yet submitted their forms must do so by the new deadline. The application fee for the various CET courses is structured based on the candidate's chosen program and category. For the B.Ed and B.Ed ELCT programs, candidates from the Open/General category and those from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) are required to pay a fee of ₹1,000, while candidates belonging to Backward Class categories from Maharashtra State alone are eligible for a reduced fee of ₹800.

In the case of higher professional courses such as M.Ed and M.P.Ed, the charges are slightly higher. General category applicants can expect a fee ranging between ₹1,300 and ₹1,500, whereas candidates from Reserved categories within the state pay between ₹1,000 and ₹1,300.
