The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the MAH BBA CET 2026 CAP Final Merit List. The list is now live on the official portal at bba2026.mahacet.org.in.

MAH BBA CET stands for Maharashtra BBA Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to BBA and allied undergraduate programmes. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is the counselling process conducted after the examination.

The CET Cell has released three separate merit lists for the current admission cycle. These cover the All India (AI), Maharashtra (MH), and Defence categories. Each merit list is available as a downloadable PDF on the official portal.

Who Falls Under Each MAH BBA CET Merit List Category?

The Maharashtra (MH) merit list covers candidates who have a Maharashtra domicile. It is the largest of the three merit lists, and most state-quota seats are filled through this category.

The All India (AI) merit list is prepared for candidates belonging to states other than Maharashtra. Only a limited number of seats are available under the All India quota. Applicants must fulfil the eligibility conditions prescribed by the CET Cell.

The Defence merit list is meant for the wards of Defence personnel serving in Maharashtra. This category has a separate share of reserved seats. Candidates must submit the required certificates issued by the concerned authority during document verification.

MAH BBA CAP Round 1 2026 Schedule

The CET Cell has published the complete Round 1 counselling schedule. Important dates related to the option form, seat allotment, seat acceptance, and college reporting are provided below.

What Happens After the Final Merit List?

The release of the Final Merit List marks the beginning of the active counselling process. Candidates must now complete the CAP Round 1 option form through the official portal. The order of preferences submitted in the option form will determine the college and course allotment.

After the provisional seat allotment is released, candidates must accept the allotted seat online. They must then complete document verification, college reporting, and fee payment within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates who fail to complete the required process within the given timeline may lose their allotted seat.

Seats remaining vacant after CAP Round 1 will be carried forward to the subsequent counselling rounds. The CET Cell will release separate schedules for the later rounds. Candidates who are not satisfied with their Round 1 allotment may select the available upgrade or betterment option, subject to the counselling rules.

2. Click on the Final Merit List link available on the homepage.
3. Select the relevant category All India, Maharashtra, or Defence.
4. Enter the required login credentials, such as the Application ID and Date of Birth.
5. View the merit list and check the merit number and category details.
6. Download and save the merit list PDF for future reference.

The CET Cell has also activated direct PDF links on the portal. Candidates can directly access the AI Merit List, MH Merit List, or Defence Merit List according to their respective category.
