The Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 schedule. Round I option form submission now closes on August 11, with seat allotment on August 17 at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (MahaCET) has revised the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) schedule for the Maharashtra Five Year Legal Education (MAH 5-Year LLB) 2026 counselling. The updated activity chart is available on the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org. Candidates can also access it through cetcell.mahacet.org.
The revision extends the CAP Round I option form window. Candidates can now submit choices until August 11, 2026. The earlier cut-off was August 9, 2026. The CET Cell said several law colleges are still awaiting Bar Council of India approval and university affiliation.
MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round I Revised Dates
Round I is the first seat allotment round of the CAP. The table below lists the revised Round I timeline.

Why Was the MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Schedule Revised?
The CET Cell has cited pending statutory approvals as the reason. Many law colleges have not yet received Bar Council of India clearance. Others are awaiting affiliation from their parent universities.
These approvals decide which colleges appear in the option form. A wider window gives candidates time to add newly approved colleges to their preference list.
How to Fill the MAH 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Option Form?
The option form lets candidates rank colleges and courses in order of preference. The system uses this list along with the merit rank for allotment.
Follow the steps below to complete the option form on time.
- Visit the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.
- Log in using the application number and password.
- Open the option form section from the candidate dashboard.
- Search and add colleges in order of preference.
- Review the final list and lock the choices before the deadline.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
Any college added to the option form after final approval becomes eligible for allotment. Candidates who lock their list early may miss newly cleared institutes. Reviewing the list until August 11 is now important.
