New Delhi: Lovely Professional University is currently organising the placement drive for its B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering) batch of 2023-24. During the placement drive, BTech student Yashasvi Yaduvanshi secured a promising career in world-leading technology multinational Microsoft with a CTC of INR 52.08 LPA.
Till this year, the highest package at the LPU Placements is offered by a German company, i.e. 3 crores per annum, followed by Google's INR 64 Lakhs. For this placement session, about 110 LPU students have placed at a package of INR 10 lakh to INR 62.7 lakh per annum. The number is expected to rise as the placement session is still ongoing.
Around 2000 recruiters have participated in the LPU placement season so far. Over 1000 recruiters offered an annual package of INR 5 LPA or above. Some top recruiters of this session are Cognizant, Capgemini, Highradius, LTTS, Wipro, DXC, Accenture, etc.

Engineering programs at LPU have achieved prestigious rankings globally. They secured the 2nd position in India according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2023, ranked 3rd by World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI) 2023, and placed 50th in the NIRF Rankings 2023, among others.
LPU has been ranked 38th amongst all Government and Private Universities in India as per NIRF Ranking 2023. The university has also been ranked 46th in the Overall Category in NIRF Ranking 2023. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched in 2015 by the Ministry of HRD, ranks Indian Institutions nationwide.
