KLEE 2026 Registration Open for 3 Year and 5 Year LLB Programmes

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has opened KLEE 2026 registration. The Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) covers admissions to the 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. Candidates can apply on the official portals at cee.kerala.gov.in/llb3online2026 and cee.kerala.gov.in/llb5online2026.

The last date to submit the application is June 15, 2026. The online portal will close at 5:00 PM on that day. The entrance test will be conducted in online mode.

KLEE scores are used for admission to government and self-financing law colleges across Kerala. Candidates who wish to apply for both streams must submit separate forms on the respective portals.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The eligibility rules differ for the two LLB streams. Candidates must read the official prospectus before filling the form.

For the 5-year LLB, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45 percent marks. The relaxed mark for SC/ST candidates is 40 percent. The minimum age is 17 years on the cut-off date.

For the 3-year LLB, candidates need a bachelor's degree with at least 45 percent marks. SC/ST candidates need 40 percent in their graduation.

KLEE 2026 Exam Pattern

KLEE is a single objective-type test. The paper carries 200 multiple-choice questions worth 600 marks. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

  • General Knowledge
  • Arithmetic and Mental Ability
  • Aptitude for Legal Studies

How to Apply for KLEE 2026?

  • Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Fill the online application with personal and academic details.
  • Pay the application fee in online mode.
  • Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and required certificates.
  • Print the acknowledgement page for future reference.
  • Email ID and mobile number are mandatory for new applicants. The system uses these to send confirmation and login details.

KLEE is the only state-level gateway to LLB seats in Kerala. The same score is used by government and self-financing law colleges in the state.
