The Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) has announced fresh option registration for the vacant seat allotment in the 3-year LLB course at government and private law colleges for the 2024-25 academic session. This phase allows eligible candidates to register their preferences for available seats. The registration process, conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is open from November 7, 2024, and will close on November 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Key Dates for KLEE 2024 Vacant Seat Allotment

Steps for Option Registration:

• Candidates on the KLEE rank list and meeting eligibility criteria can participate in this phase.
• Fresh options should be submitted online through the official CEE website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
• During admission, candidates allotted seats must bring original documents and remit applicable fees as per the prospectus.

General Rules for Vacant Seat Allotment:

• Existing Admission Status: Candidates with an existing admission who receive a new allotment will have their previous admission canceled and must accept the new allotment.
• Vacancy Filling Process: All vacancies, including those arising from higher option upgrades, will be filled in this allotment phase.
• Final Seat Acceptance: Seats received through this allotment phase cannot be changed, and no further allotments will be offered to candidates once a seat is allotted in this phase.
• Subsequent Stray Vacancy Allotment: If seats remain vacant, stray vacancy allotment will be conducted, and options registered during this phase will be considered.

Registration Fees

Candidates participating in this phase must pay a registration fee:

• General Category: ₹1000
• SC/ST/OEC and Special Categories: ₹500

Note: Refunds are available for candidates not receiving an allotment; however, fees will not be refunded for candidates who fail to join allotted colleges or leave the course post-admission.

Free Exit Option for Previously Admitted Candidates

Candidates who were previously admitted to the 3-year LLB course through earlier phases of allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) have the option to exit the course without penalty. This free exit can be availed until November 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Candidates vacating their seats or obtaining a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) after this deadline will incur a penalty.
