KL University Organises India-France Meeting on Role of ML

New Delhi: KL Deemed to be University (KL) has collaborated with Sorbonne University and Paris Brain Institute, France to organize a three-day meeting on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), and Machine Learning (ML). 

The DST-CEFIPRA funded the meeting, which took place on February 19 and 21. The objective of the gathering was to promote cooperation and information sharing between French and Indian specialists in the domain. It also emphasized the necessity of a comprehensive strategy that successfully addresses mental health issues by fusing conventional techniques with AI and ML.

The first day of the meeting had sessions on understanding brain diseases through biomarkers, and a round-table discussion was done on biomarkers. On the second day, issues related to neurological diseases were discussed by K Srinivas Prasad from BITS, Hyderabad; Govindaraju from JNCASR, Bangalore; and Jean-Marie BONNY from INRNAE, Clermont, France. A roundtable discussion about upcoming difficulties in brain illnesses ensued after this.

A conversation about the future of Indo-French research and practical ways to collaborate to create an International Center for AI in Medicine marked the event's conclusion. Researchers, doctors, academics, faculty, staff, and students actively participated in the meeting, which facilitated a lively interchange of ideas and expertise in the domains of artificial intelligence and neuroscience.
