Kerala NEET MDS 2026 Final Merit List Out; Options by Aug 30

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026 final merit list. The rank list is available on the official CEE portal at cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates seeking admission to MDS seats in Kerala can now register their college and course options online.

The online option registration window closes on August 30, 2026. Candidates who feature in the final merit list must lock their choices before this deadline. Only registered options will be considered during the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).

The merit list has been prepared after resolving objections received against the provisional rank list. It carries the application number, NEET MDS 2026 all-India rank, and assigned state rank of each eligible candidate. This list is the base document for MDS seat allotment across dental colleges in Kerala.

How to Register Options for the Centralised Allotment Process?

The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) is conducted online by CEE Kerala. Seat allotment is based strictly on rank and the options locked by a candidate. Candidates must register options only for colleges they are willing to join.

  1. Log in to the MDS 2026 candidate portal on the CEE Kerala website.
  2. Open the option registration section for Round 1.
  3. Select the colleges and specialities in order of preference.
  4. Rearrange the choices according to priority.
  5. Save and lock the options before August 30, 2026.

Candidates should list their preferences carefully. Higher-preference options are considered first during allotment. Once a higher choice is allotted, lower choices become inactive for that round.

Who Can Take Part in the MDS Counselling?

Only candidates named in the Kerala NEET MDS 2026 final merit list may register options. Applicants must have qualified NEET MDS 2026 and satisfied the domicile and eligibility rules provided in the official prospectus. Both General and Service category candidates can participate in the CAP.

Reservation seats are allotted according to the category lists notified by CEE Kerala. Candidates should refer to the official MDS 2026 prospectus for detailed category and eligibility norms.

Why This Matters

Option registration is a one-time exercise for Round 1. Candidates who miss the August 30 cut-off cannot take part in the first allotment. Locking realistic and well-ranked choices directly decides which MDS seat is offered.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Download the final merit list from cee.kerala.gov.in and confirm your rank.
  2. Read the MDS 2026 prospectus and note eligible colleges and specialities.
  3. Log in to the candidate portal and open the option registration page.
  4. Enter college and course preferences in strict order of priority.
  5. Lock the options and save the acknowledgement before August 30, 2026.
Keep an Eye On
