Kaziranga University accepts admission to PhD programs based on the KUEST exam. KUEST 2025 will be held on January 20, 2025. Read the article for more details.
Kaziranga University is inviting applications for PhD programs for the January 2025 session. The Kaziranga University Eligibility and Scholastic Test (KUEST-2025) will be conducted in offline mode and in online mode for candidates outside Assam.

Kaziranga University PhD Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade 'B' on the UGC 10-point scale.
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent.
- M.Phil with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Differently abled, and other categories of candidates.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the KUEST (70% weightage) followed by a personal interview (30% weightage). Those who have qualified and possess a valid scorecard in CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/DST-INSPIRE or equivalent national level examination/ fellowship/ GATE/ GPAT and M.Phil degree holders in the last two years are exempted from KUEST. However, they have to appear for a personal interview.
