Delhi University has opened PhD Admission 2026-27 registration. The last date to apply is October 18, 2026. Department and Centre interviews are scheduled from October 21 to 31, 2026 at admission.uod.ac.in.

The University of Delhi (DU) has opened the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Admission 2026-27 registration window on its official admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in. The announcement follows the release of the official Bulletin of Information (BoI) for Regular PhD Admissions dated October 6, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to doctoral programmes across DU departments can submit their applications online. The last date to complete the registration process is October 18, 2026.
Interviews will be conducted by the respective Departments and Centres from October 21 to October 31, 2026. Recommendations by the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) and the Board of Research Studies (BRS) are due by November 10, 2026. Selected candidates must pay the admission fee by November 15, 2026 to confirm their seats.

Participating Departments and Centres
The current cycle runs Phase I admissions for the 2026-27 session alongside Phase II admissions for the 2025-26 session. The Department of Political Science has released its Phase I notice for 2026-27 admissions. Multiple departments are simultaneously conducting Phase II admissions for the previous session.
Phase II departments include Finance and Business Economics, Buddhist Studies, and Environmental Studies. English, Education, and Psychology are also inviting applications. Science disciplines on the list include Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry. Humanities departments participating include History, Hindi, and Sanskrit. Computer Science and Mathematics are also open for applications.
