KEA has opened the Karnataka PGCET 2026 application correction window from July 3 to July 6 on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Document verification for select ME MTech and MArch candidates will be held on July 10 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026 correction window. Candidates can now edit their applications on the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The correction facility remains open from July 3 to July 6, 2026.
KEA has also released the document verification schedule for select courses. Verification will be held on July 10, 2026 at the KEA office in Bengaluru. The process runs from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on that day.
PGCET is conducted every year for postgraduate admissions in Karnataka. It covers MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MArch programmes across state institutes.
Who Needs to Attend Document Verification?
The verification round is not meant for every PGCET candidate this month. It applies only to aspirants of select ME, MTech and MArch courses. MBA and MCA applicants will follow a separate counselling process later.
MArch candidates must also produce their PGETA 2026 marks card. This is a mandatory requirement for MArch admission clearance.
| Programme | Special Verification Requirement |
|---|---|
| ME | All original academic and category documents |
| MTech | All original academic and category documents |
| MArch | PGETA 2026 marks card along with academic originals |
How to Edit the PGCET 2026 Application Form?
KEA has kept the correction process fully online for student convenience. Candidates should follow these steps in order.
- Visit the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2026.
- Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth to sign in.
- Select the fields you wish to correct and update them.
- Save the changes and download the revised confirmation page.
How to Book the Verification Slot?
Candidates called for verification must carry both originals and self-attested copies. The KEA office is located on Sampige Road, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bengaluru. Reporting late may lead to loss of the verification chance.
For queries, candidates can call KEA at 080-23460460 on weekdays. Emails may be sent to keauthority-ka@nic.in for written clarifications.
The correction window is a rare second chance for candidates. Errors in name, photo, category or contact details can be fixed now. Missing this four-day window means the errors stay on record permanently.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in to the PGCET portal during the correction window and review every field.
- Correct wrong entries in personal details, category, photo or signature.
- Save the updated form and keep a printed copy for records.
- ME, MTech and MArch aspirants should arrange all original academic and category documents.
- MArch candidates must also carry the PGETA 2026 marks card without fail.
- Reach the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru within the verification timings.
Watch for the PGCET 2026 result and counselling schedule on the KEA portal. Seat allotment and choice filling windows will follow soon after.
