Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 1 Final Allotment Released; Joining Deadline Extended to August 25

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment result on August 21, 2026. Candidates can view and download their allotment orders on the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA has also extended the joining window, giving allotted candidates time until August 25, 2026 to complete admission at their assigned colleges.

The DCET is a state-level entrance test for diploma holders and BSc graduates. It offers lateral admission to engineering, architecture, and other professional courses in Karnataka. The Round 1 final allotment is based on merit rank, option entry, and category-based reservation.

The official notification dated August 21, 2026 confirms the revised joining schedule. Allotted candidates who fail to report by the new deadline will lose their seats. The vacated seats will be added to the seat matrix for the next counselling round.

How to Check the Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result?

KEA has hosted the allotment order on a dedicated result page. Candidates need their CET number and date of birth to log in and view the allotted seat.

1. Visit the official result page at keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.
2. Enter the CET number and date of birth in the login fields.
3. Submit the details and open the Round 1 allotment order.
4. Verify the allotted college, branch, and category on the order.
5. Download and take a printout of the allotment order for reporting.

How to Complete the Joining Process at the Allotted College?

Candidates must pay the prescribed fee and report physically at the allotted institution. Original documents will be verified before admission is confirmed.

1. Pay the prescribed college fee at any designated bank branch.
2. Collect the fee-paid challan or receipt for admission use.
3. Carry original certificates, admission order, and required photocopies.
4. Report to the allotted college within the extended deadline.
5. Complete document verification and admission before August 25, 2026.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

• DCET 2026 admit card and allotment order printout
• Diploma or qualifying degree marks cards for all years
• SSLC or Class 10 marks card as proof of date of birth
• Study certificates from Class 1 to the qualifying course
• Caste, income, and other category certificates, if applicable
• Fee-paid challan and recent passport-size photographs
