The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA 2026 Round 5 seat allotment result at josaa.nic.in. Candidates can check the result by logging in at josaa.admissions.nic.in. Round 5 is the final seat allotment round for IITs and IISc this year.

Allotted candidates must complete online reporting by July 20, 2026. The seat acceptance fee payment window also closes on the same date at 5 PM. Candidates who miss the deadline will lose their allotted IIT seat.

Final Round for IITs and IISc

Round 5 is the last JoSAA allotment round for the IITs and IISc this year. Candidates who miss the July 20 window cannot claim their allotted IIT seat later. Vacant seats at the NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will move to the CSAB special rounds for further allotment.
