New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University is inviting applications from International students for admission to its PG, PG Diploma and Advance Diploma Programs for the academic session 2024-25 under the In-absentia category. Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Interested and eligible candidates applying for admission at JNU PG Admission 2024 should appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination or fulfill the minimum eligibility requirement as prescribed for Indian students.

Step 2: Click on the “Admission for Foreign Students” link on the home page.

Step 3: Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents.

Step 4: Candidates are required to appear for a Computer Based Test to qualify for the university’s admission.

Ques. What is the admission process for foreign students in JNU?

Ans.  Foreign students at JNU can take admissions through two mediums. They are through the Entrance Examination and/or viva voce and the ‘In Absentia’ process. Either way, the candidate should submit the application form and pay the application fee to the university.

Ques. Is it important for international students to take CUET?

Ans. Admissions to B.Tech programs for foreign nationals in JNU are based on DASA counseling. However, admissions to the regular UG and PG courses are based on the entrance exam/ viva voce or through In Absentia. 

Ques. What is the application fee for JNU?

Ans. The application fee for admission at JNU is USD 42. Either NEFT or an INR 3486 bank draft in the university's name may be used to make payments.
