J&K NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Online Choice Filling Schedule for MD/MS/PGD and MDS Courses Announced

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the schedule for online choice filling for NEET PG courses (MD/MS/PGD & MDS) for the 2024 session. Eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process to secure admission to postgraduate medical courses across the Union Territory. The online choice filling window will be open till November 25, 2024.

Key Details of the Counselling Process

• Online Choice Filling Dates: From November 23, 2024, to November 25, 2024 (until midnight).
• Counselling Fee: ₹2,000 (non-refundable), to be paid online during the choice-filling process. Candidates who fail to pay the fee will not be considered for seat allotment.
• Seat Matrix: The detailed seat matrix will be available on the official website of JKBOPEE before the commencement of the choice-filling process.

Eligibility and Important Instructions

1. Provisional Merit List:
   • Candidates figuring in the JKUT Specific Provisional Merit List (JKUTSPML) were invited to raise objections up to November 20, 2024.
   • Only one representation was received, which was dismissed for lack of merit.
2. Document Deficiency:
   • Candidates with deficiencies in documents like Date of Birth or NEET scorecards have been provisionally allowed to participate in counselling, subject to submission of all required documents at the time of admission. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of admission.
   • Reserved category candidates who did not clear deficiencies in their category certificates by the prescribed date have been treated as Open Merit candidates, provided they meet eligibility criteria.
3. Disqualified Candidates:
   • Candidates who failed to upload or submit mandatory documents by the deadline have been disqualified from the process.

• Devices: Candidates are advised to avoid using mobile phones or tablets for filling their preferences online.
• Instructions: It is crucial to read the e-Information Brochure available on the JKBOPEE website thoroughly before proceeding with choice filling.
• Payment: Ensure timely payment of the counselling fee to confirm participation.
