J&K NEET AYUSH UG Counseling 2024: Stray Round-II and Mop-Up Round Counseling Schedule Released

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the Stray Round-II for BAMS/BUMS/BPT and the 2nd/Mop-Up Round for BHMS admissions for the academic year 2024-25. The counselling will be conducted physically for Government and Private AYUSH colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.The counselling process will be conducted on December 3, 2024.

Candidates participating for the first time must pay ₹1500 via POS machine (Debit/Credit Card) at the JKBOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar.

Eligibility Criteria

For BAMS/BUMS/BPT:

• Candidates not allotted any seat in previous counseling rounds.
• Candidates allotted a seat but did not join can participate.
• Candidates upgraded during any round are not eligible.
• Candidates participating for the first time must fulfill all registration and attendance formalities on the day of counseling.

For BHMS:

• Candidates absent or marked CNA/SNA in the 1st round are eligible.
• Candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 1st round and seek upgradation must present the fee receipt from their current college.
• Reserved category candidates will be counseled first. If reserved seats remain vacant, they will be converted to the OM category as per Section 9(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.

Important Guidelines

1. Counseling Timings:
   • Registration and Attendance: 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on the respective day.
2. Authorization for Counseling:
   • Candidates unable to attend personally may authorize a close blood relative to participate on their behalf. An authorization letter, identity card, and Aadhar card of the representative are mandatory.
3. Seat Allotment:
   • Counseling will stop once all seats are filled, and no claims from waiting candidates will be entertained.
4. Tentative Seat Matrix:
   • The seat matrix will be published on the official website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) before the start of counseling and may be subject to changes.
