J&K BOPEE 2024: Notification Released for Filling MD/MS Management Seats under Hindu Minority and NRI Quota

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released Notification regarding the admission process for MD/MS seats under Hindu Minority (HM) and NRI Quota at ASCOMS, Jammu, for the academic session 2024-25.The eligible candidates must submit the required documents at BOPEE office within December 2, 2024, 3 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

1. For All Candidates:
   • Must have qualified NEET PG 2024 with the minimum qualifying percentile.
   • Must appear in the JKUT Provisional Merit List as per Notification No. 167-BOPEE of 2024 (dated November 18, 2024).
2. Hindu Minority Quota (HM):
   • Candidates must produce a certificate from the Competent Authority confirming they belong to the Hindu Minority Community.
3. NRI Quota:
   • Only domiciles of J&K are eligible.
   • Category 1: Candidates who are NRI and whose families originally belong to the UT of J&K.
   • Category 2: Children/Wards of NRI sponsors originally from the UT of J&K.

Documents Required

Hindu Minority Quota:

• NEET PG-2024 Score Card
• Domicile Certificate of J&K
• Certificate of belonging to the Hindu Minority Community issued by the Competent Authority

NRI Quota:

• For Category 1:
  1. NEET PG-2024 Score Card
  2. NRI Certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs or Indian Embassy
  3. Copy of NRI Bank Account
  4. Indian Passport
  5. Income Tax Return (if applicable)
  6. PAN Card (if applicable)
  7. Domicile Certificate of the candidate
• For Category 2:
  1. NEET PG-2024 Score Card
  2. NRI Sponsorship Letter and Undertaking from sponsor (attested by Indian Embassy or legal authority)
  3. Sponsor’s Bank Statement, Resident/NRI Certificate, and Employment Certificate
  4. Pedigree Table/Family Tree showing relationship with the sponsor
  5. PAN Card of sponsor and candidate (if applicable)
  6. Income Tax Return (if applicable)
  7. Domicile Certificate of the candidate

Note: Candidates must submit all documents on the prescribed proformas (Annexure A & B) available at the official BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in).

Fee Structure

The fee structure is as per Government Order No. 659-HME of 2019 (dated July 10, 2019) and Order No. 221-HME of 2016 (dated April 1, 2016). Candidates are advised to confirm the fee from the respective college.
