JEE Main 2026 Session 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results will now be declared by February 16, 2026. Originally scheduled for release on February 12, the agency has extended the timeline by four days. Candidates who appeared for the January session can check their scorecards on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, once the link is activated.

The merit list and NTA scores of JEE Main 2026 are not limited to NITs and IIITs. Other Central or State Government organisations (such as specialised universities or recruitment boards) can use these results for their own admission or selection processes. However, this is subject to the specific eligibility criteria and rules set by those individual organisations.

The NTA has strict guidelines regarding the declaration of results. It will not declare the results for candidates found to have used unfair means practices (UMP). If a candidate appears from a centre other than the one allotted or allows someone else to take the exam on their behalf, their result will be cancelled. Furthermore, any candidate appearing in the same session more than once will have their candidature cancelled and may be debarred.
