NTA has commenced the last day of JEE Mains 2025 April session today, April 9, 2025, in a single shift. JEE Main 2025 April 9 exam was conducted from 9 AM to 12 noon for B.Arch/B.Plan papers. The shift continued till 12.30 PM for candidates appearing for B.Arch and B.Plan both. Around 11 lakh candidates have appeared for the JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam.

Candidates appearing in the exam on JEE Main's second attempt dates can download their JEE Mains Admit Card from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025 admit card. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 is conducted in 290 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
NOTE: JEE Main Session two admit cards must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the JEE Main exam hall. NTA said the answers would not be evaluated if the candidates failed to deposit their admit cards.

Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
Following these essential guidelines for JEE Main 2025 exam ensures a smooth exam experience:
Before the Exam:
- Visit your designated exam center a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
- Arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Carry essential documents, including a clear printout of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
On the Exam Day:
- Ensure you write your name and roll number on the rough sheets provided, and return them to the invigilator before leaving.
- Accurately fill out the attendance sheet with your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the specified areas.
- Stay composed, and prioritize sufficient rest the night before to perform your best.

NTA had changed the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 from Modern Institute of Engineering & Technology (TC Code-37395) to Khamargachi Private ITI (TC Code-30642) in Hoogly, WB, for the 09 April 2025 exam.
What to Carry to the Exam Center
- Admit card with Self-Declaration form (printed on A4 size paper)
- A transparent ballpoint pen
- An additional photograph (for the attendance sheet)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- Transparent water bottle
Note: Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle. However, packed food items like chocolates, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.

The JEE Main 2025 B.Arch and B.Plan papers were overall easy to moderately difficult. The Maths sections was moderate with some tricky calculations, Aptitude/ Drawing/Planning sections were deemed easy.

IIT Kanpur is scheduled to conduct the JEE Advanced exam on May 18, 2025 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in two shifts for two papers –

JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two national-level entrance exams offering admission to top engineering colleges in India. Here are
- JEE Main is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. It is conducted by NTA, twice a year JEE Main is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.
- JEE Advanced is conducted by one of seven participating IITs (Roorkee, Kharagpur, Delhi, Kanpur, Bombay, Hyderabad, and Guwahati) on a rotational basis for admission to IITs. The exam is conducted once a year.
NTA is expected to release the JEE Main result 2025 Session 2 by April 17, 2025.
For the JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Plan, candidates must answer all questions. These questions are divided into Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing/Planning. Mathematics has 2 sections – Sectiom A with 20 MCQs and Section B with 5 NATs.
