The National Testing Agency has concluded the JEE Main April 8 exam at 6 PM. There was no exam today in the first shift. Candidates reported that the paper was moderately difficult. You can check the JEE Main 2025 April 8 question paper PDF free download link here.

Candidates appearing in the exam on JEE Main's second attempt dates – April 8, and 9 can download their JEE Mains Admit Card from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025 admit card. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 is conducted in 290 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 April 9 exam will have only the one shift from 9 AM to 12/12.30 PM. Around 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their JEE Mains 2025 admit card along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
NOTE: JEE Main Session two admit cards must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the JEE Main exam hall. NTA said the answers would not be evaluated if the candidates failed to deposit their admit cards.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 papers are moderate, with a combination of easy, moderate, and tough questions. It is expected that
- Physics will carry approximately 25% of the overall questions
- Chemistry will carry about 30% of the overall questions
- Mathematics will carry approximately 45% of the overall questions

Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
Following these essential guidelines for JEE Main 2025 exam ensures a smooth exam experience:
Before the Exam:
- Visit your designated exam center a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
- Arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Carry essential documents, including a clear printout of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
On the Exam Day:
- Ensure you write your name and roll number on the rough sheets provided, and return them to the invigilator before leaving.
- Accurately fill out the attendance sheet with your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the specified areas.
- Stay composed, and prioritize sufficient rest the night before to perform your best.

What to Carry to the Exam Center
- Admit card with Self-Declaration form (printed on A4 size paper)
- A transparent ballpoint pen
- An additional photograph (for the attendance sheet)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- Transparent water bottle
Note: Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle. However, packed food items like chocolates, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.
Based on the initial reaction, the JEE Main 2025 April 8 question paper had an easier Maths sections compared to Session 1, Chemistry was moderate and lengthy whereas Physics was moderate.

IIT Kanpur is scheduled to conduct the JEE Advanced exam on May 18, 2025 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in two shifts for two papers –
- Paper 1: 09:00-12:00 IST
- Paper 2: 14:30-17:30 IST

Though NTA has not released the official data yet, approximatey 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam. The exact statistics will be released along with the Session 2 results.
A total of 13,78,232 candidates registered with 13,00,273 candidates appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 accounting a 94.4% attendance rate in JEE Main 2025 session 1.

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 April 8 in a single shift – second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
After the exam is over, JEE Main Provisional Answer Key will be released by April 11, 2025 followed by release of JEE Main Final Answer keys in fourth week of April.
