JAIN University JET BTech Counselling 2023 Begins; Slot Booking Open till June 15

New Delhi: Jain University has begun JET (JAIN Entrance Test) BTech counselling for qualified candidates today, on June 5, 2023. Candidates can register for the JET counselling 2023 between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM on the official website @set.jainuniversity.ac.in. 

The list of candidates who have qualified for the JET – Scholarship Counselling Round (SCR) is now available on the official website. The scholarship counselling round (SCR) will be conducted in two slots from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and the afternoon slot from 2 PM to 5 PM. Candidates must complete their admission fee payment by the deadline, of June 15, 2023. 

The Jain University Entrance Test is conducted to offer BTech Admissions at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The selection of candidates is determined by their JET Score as well as meeting the eligibility criteria, which includes achieving a minimum average of 60% in their class 12 marks.

JET 2023 BTech Counselling Process 

The JET Counselling 2023 process is mentioned below for candidates who have been selected for the Jain University BTech Admissions.

Step 1: The university will release the JET results/ merit list to appear for the Jain University counselling round.

Step 2: Qualified candidates will receive an invitation to the counselling session via their registered e-mail ID.

Step 3: The invited students are required to attend the counselling session according to the scheduled time.

Step 4: A separate merit list is prepared for all eligible and qualified candidates participating in the counselling.

Step 5: Selected candidates are required to attend the SCR/Merit Counselling sessions. Once the counselling process is concluded, candidates will be assigned seats in their respective colleges, where they must proceed for further admission procedures. 

Documents Required for JET 2023 Counselling

In order to secure their provisional admission, the shortlisted candidates are expected to pay the seat-blocking fee. It is also crucial for the candidates to bring along the following documents for verification during the counselling process.

• Photo (JPG, PNG format only and size should not exceed 1 MB)
• Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheet
• Higher Secondary / XI Standard with scorecards
• Diploma Certificate (If applicable)
