IIT Kharagpur Phase-I Placement 2025–26 Records 1,501 Job Offers; Highest CTC at INR 2.44 Crore

IIT Kharagpur recorded the highest salary package of INR 2.44 crore during the 2025–26 placement season. The institute received a total of 1,501 job offers in Phase I of the placement drive. Out of these, 457 were pre-placement offers, and 15 were international job offers.

IIT Kharagpur created a new record when it crossed 1,000 job offers in a single day during the placement session.

Phase 1 of the placement drive was held from December 1, 2025, to January 3, 2026. Meanwhile, Phase 2 of the 2025–26 placement session started on January 16.
