IIT Jodhpur MBA Admission 2026 Begins @iitj.ac.in; Apply Till Feb 12, Selection via CAT & PI

The School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME), IIT Jodhpur, has opened applications for its flagship MBA and MBA-Technology programmes for the 2026 academic session. Interested candidates can submit their applications online till February 12, 2026. The interview process is tentatively scheduled to begin on March 10, 2026.

SME, IIT Jodhpur offers a unique two-track MBA programme. During the first year, students complete foundational courses across multiple disciplines. In the second year, candidates can choose either the MBA or MBA-Technology track based on their academic and career preferences. Additionally, selected students may opt for an International Dual Degree in their second year at partner institutions abroad.

IIT Jodhpur MBA 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration after 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, and PwD candidates as per government norms. A valid CAT 2025 score is mandatory.

Selection Process for IIT Jodhpur MBA 2026

The admission process for the MBA program will consist of two steps: initial shortlisting and final shortlisting. The criteria for each step are outlined below:

A. Initial shortlisting

An initial shortlist will be created based on the composite score, calculated using the following parameters and corresponding weights. Relaxations for all reserved categories will be applied in accordance with the norms of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, amended from time to time.

• CAT Overall Scaled Score
• Work Experience (Full Time)
• Gender Diversity

Important Points:

• The cut-off percentile (overall/sectional) will depend on the number of applications.
• The calculation of work experience is done till the date the application opens.
• 15+ working days in a month counted as 1 full month, Less than 15 days = not counted
• Final authority regarding acceptance of experience lies with IIT Jodhpur.

Candidates who clear this stage are shortlisted for interviews.

B. Final shortlisting

Candidates from all categories, shortlisted based on the composite score, will be called for a Personal Interview (via virtual mode). The final shortlist will be prepared based on the following criteria, with due weights assigned to each component.
