IIT Bhilai Opens Applications for MTech Program, Apply by April 20!

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai has begun accepting applications for its Masters in Technology program for the academic year 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to submit applications by April 20, 2025, together with the relevant documentation, which include academic certificates, identity evidence, and proof of age.

IIT Bhilai M.Tech Program Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai Masters in Technology Program, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must have ONE of the following in the relevant academic areas.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a first-class grade point average of 60% (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent.
  • A master's degree in science or an equivalent degree with first-class standing and 60% (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent.
  • B.Pharma (four years) with first class and 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent.
  • M.B.B.S., B.D.S., or a similar degree (of at least four years) with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST), or equivalent.
• Applicants must also meet one of the following extra requirements.
  • Valid GATE/GPAT Score (see Table 1 for discipline-specific criteria).
  • CPI/CGPA of 8.0 in BTech, if completed at an IIT.

To successfully enroll in the IIT Bhilai M.Tech program, candidates must pay the application fee specified in the table below:

Candidates who apply to several MTech programs must submit separate applications and pay application fees for each program.
