IISWBM MBA Admission 2026-28 Open; Apply by December 29

The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata, has opened admissions for its MBA program for the 2026-28 batch. Interested candidates can apply online or offline, and the last date to submit applications is December 29, 2025.

The total fee for the two-year MBA program is Rs. 8,30,000, with Rs. 4,36,000 payable in the first year and Rs. 3,94,000 in the second year. Admission is based on CAT scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata, with the final selection strictly based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria for IISWBM MBA 2026

Candidates apply to IISWBM either online or offline. The Institute gets the CAT scores of the applicants from the IIM admission committee. On the basis of a cut-off mark, candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. The final list of selected candidates is prepared strictly based on merit.

The minimum qualification for admission to the course is a Bachelor’s degree (Honours/Major) in Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Law, Engineering, Medical Science, or other professional/equivalent courses from a University recognized by the University of Calcutta with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/NC-OBC).

How to Apply For IISWBM MBA 2026?

Applicants can submit their application to IISWBM either offline or online.

Offline process:

Candidates can purchase the application form by paying Rs. 1500 in cash at IISWBM, Management House, Kolkata 700073, or print the form available online. The filled form, along with all required documents, can be submitted by dropping it in the IISWBM drop box or posting it to the institute’s address. For printed forms, the payment must be made in cash at IISWBM while submitting the documents.

Online process:

Visit the official website of IISWBM to begin the application process. During this process, a User ID and Password will be generated and sent via SMS or email, which should be saved for future reference. Payment can be made using net banking, debit card, or credit card. After completing the application, print the filled form and payment receipt, and submit.
