IISER Kolkata Integrated PhD Admission 2025 Open; Apply Before May 14

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata has opened admission for the Integrated PhD program 2025. Admission started on March 12, 2025. The interview results will be published on May 21, 2025. The application fee for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL is INR 200, and for PWD/SC/ST, it is INR 100.

IISER Kolkata Integrated PhD Selection procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide the email addresses of two teachers who have taught them relevant courses and can assess their potential as research scholars.

For candidates whose final examination results are unavailable at the time of the interview, admission will be granted provisionally. They must submit their final mark sheet to the Academic Office within 60 days of admission. To confirm their admission, they must secure at least 60% marks or equivalent grades in Honours/Major (if applicable) or 60% marks/equivalent grades in aggregate (if Honours/Major is not applicable).

IISER Kolkata Integrated PhD Documents Required 2025

Candidates selected for interview should bring a printout of the application form along with the required documents listed below (and also the originals) at the time of the interview.

• Self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of all examinations starting from the secondary examination.
• Self-attested copy of the qualifying examination certificate.
• Candidates are supposed to provide the details of the referee in the application form.
• Proof of qualification in nationwide aptitude tests.
• Photo identity.
• Proof of age.
• Statement of Purpose mentioning research interest and potential supervisors (if any).
