IIRF MBA Ranking 2024 IIM Ahmedabad Recives First Rank

New Delhi: The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework has published the list of Top MBA Institutes in 2024. With its efforts and hard work, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has achieved the top position in raking. Delhi University’s FMS moved from 5th place to top second stop in 2024. 

Third, fourth, and fifth position was acquired by IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode respectively. Top private business schools in India were also ranked, and the top position was achieved by Xavier Institute of Management Jamshedpur. Followed by MDI Gurugram, S P Jain Insitute of Management Mumbai, and Symbiosis Institute of Management Pune have secured top 4 ranks.

IIRF MBA 2024 Rankings: Top 10 Institutes

The following table shows the overall IIRF MBA 2024 rankings of the top 10 government B-Schools this year.

XLRI Xavier Institute of Management, Jamshedpur, MDI-Management Development Institute, Gurugram, S P Jain Institute of Management, Research, Mumbai, and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune have secured the top four ranks respectively, under the category of top private business schools in India.

SIBM-Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune), Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development - SCMHRD (Pune), and XIMB-Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar) have secured the top three ranks under the category of top business schools under university programs.
The National Education Policy (NEP 2020) emphasises the importance of employability. Recognising this significance, the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) has released the rankings for colleges in the Top Business Schools for Employability category. XLRI Xavier Institute of Management (Jamshedpur), MDI-Management Development Institute (Gurugram), and S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (Mumbai) have clinched the top three positions in the employability category.

The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework Ranking Categories:

  1. Top 50 Business Schools Under University Program
  2. Top 50 Business Schools for Employability
  3. Top 50 Business Schools for Research 
  4. Overall Ranking of Private Business Schools
  5. Overall Ranking of Government Business Schools

According to the IIRF, over 300 institutions were assessed and around 50 government and 160 private institutions were ranked. The purpose of ranking is to serve as a guide to individuals aspiring to pursue a career in management.

The ranking of institutions is done based on seven key parameters. That includes Industry Income and Integration, Placement Performance, Future Orientation, Teaching Learning Resources and Pedagogy, Research, External Perception and International Outlook (EPIO). The ranking is conducted by Maction Consulting under the guidance of the Federation for World Academics (FWA).
