The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has released the SPOT Round Counselling 2026 schedule on its official admissions portal at iimc.admissions.nic.in. The notification was issued on June 30, 2026. It covers all vacant seats left after Round 3 of regular counselling.
The SPOT round will be conducted for six Master of Arts (MA) programmes and four Post Graduate Diploma (PG Diploma) programmes of IIMC. Admission will be based on CUET-PG 2026 merit scores. Candidates who have a valid CUET-PG 2026 score are eligible to take part.
IIMC is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It runs campuses at New Delhi, Dhenkanal, Aizawl, Amravati, Jammu, and Kottayam.

Who Can Participate in the SPOT Round?
The SPOT round is open to candidates who hold a valid CUET-PG 2026 scorecard. It covers two main groups. The first group is fresh candidates who did not register in earlier rounds. The second group is candidates who registered earlier but did not get any seat.
Candidates who already accepted a seat in Round 1, Round 2, or Round 3 may also be eligible to upgrade. They must follow the conditions listed in the official schedule notice. Candidates must check campus-wise vacancy positions before locking their choices.

The required documents include the CUET-PG 2026 scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation marksheet or provisional certificate, photo ID proof, category certificate where applicable, and the seat allotment letter. Allottees must also pay the first semester fee minus the seat acceptance fee to confirm admission.
